We’re going to take photos. But how does it work?
Before your session: First things first, I'll send you a questionnaire to get to know you and your family. It goes over your child's names, ages and interests so I can pull those out and connect with them quickly. It'll also go over YOUR personality and desires for your session. Are you silly? We'll be silly. More serious and editorial? We'll focus on that. Want to capture baby's first bath or breastfeeding? I'm on it.
I'll also send you a 'What to Wear' guide to help with any wardrobe questions, and I'm always here for you to bounce outfit ideas off.
During the session: Newborn sessions are about 2 hours in length. Family sessions are about 1 hour.
We’re going to strike a balance between posing you so you look amazing and letting things unfold naturally so we catch the real you. The best news? You don’t have to worry about managing your kids at ALL during the shoot. That’s my job. Your job is to show up ready to love on your favourite people. (Plus, it actually works better if you let me do the worrying–I count on kids to give me their natural selves, and they can’t do that as well with mom and dad trying to get them to behave perfectly).
As far as WHERE - Newborn and family sessions take place in your home, where you're most comfortable and already make memories. We'll photograph wherever there's good light.
After the session: You'll receive a few sneak peeks within 48 hours of your session. Within two weeks, your online gallery will be available to download your digital images. You'll also be able to order prints, canvases, and albums to remember these days that go by too fast. They'll be there as a reminder of the sweet moments when it all gets a little crazy ;)
